Used together with BeaverCraft’s polishing paste (included) and provides quick sharpening of the tool. Honing with leather is a technique that goes back very, very far in time. For major damage to the edge, however, you may need to resharpen the tool. After sharpening, the leather pieceis excellent for removing the raw edge for a perfect result.
